Here is a round-up of June 2012 events for your green and healthy family. Leave a comment for others I should add! June 20: Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment Summer Solstice Volunteer Cleanup Event, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Bluemont Park, Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA

June 20: Screening of Unacceptable Levels documentary on chemicals in consumer products. Tickets $10 at the door or at http://unacceptablelevelsdc.bpt.me/ E Street Cinema, 555 11th St. NW, Washington, DC. Showings at 7:00 and 10:00 with a panel of speakers joining the filmmaker to discuss the film after the 7:00 showing only.

Saturday, August 3: Learn About Homemade Probiotics and Traditionally Fermented Foods in Arlington organized by the Northern Virginia Paleo Parents and Friends Meetup group 11:00-12:30. Organized and hosted by Gina Rieg of Simplistic Wholistic. $55

Sunday, August 11: MommyCon convention on natural and organic parenting methods in Philadelphia, PA. Full and half-day tickets available. Children welcome.
