I waited too long.
By the time I decided that we’d be in an okay place with the move and that yes, I could justify the money to fly to Chicago for my first solo time since becoming a mom, BlogHer was sold out.
I’d hoped that the conference would get me over the hump of consolidating my blogs, moving to WordPress, and finally going out to market myself (once I got a fancy new logo for Crunchy-Chewy Mama). Perhaps I wasn’t ready for the big time anyway. Perhaps that’s ridiculous and no one is ever ready for anything. They just do it.
Well, if Verizon can make me wait two weeks to get phone service working in my house, the internets can wait a little longer for one more blog, and I can wait until next year’s conference. The point of blogging initially was to keep me writing and keep me sane. That’s most important.
But it would be nice if it all looked and smelled snazzy!
