Mama’s turn at dress-up

August 19, 2009 by Jessica Leave a Comment

I’ll keep mum on the details for now, but it’s amazing what a job interview has done for me. Having to buy a clothes and dress shoes that actually fit, a bag, and jewelry has been a great exercise. I’ve had a reason to take myself seriously as a Person in the World, not just a mom who wears only clothes that can get dirty.

It’s taken a lot of time (and money!), but it’s also taken me into 2009.

Thanks to all the kind retail clerks who have helped me and to Spendalla for coaching me as only a savvy-dressing mama could!
