Liz prepares to string a bead on my labor necklace at my motherblessing last summer
Back in January, I wrote about my friend Liz, who was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has now completed her first round of chemo and is on to her second. She’s keeping folks posted on her blog, http://helptohealmama.blogspot.com/
It’s been so amazing to see how many people are coming out to support her, whether through food donations, meals, childcare or funds. Liz’s husband is self-employed, and, as a mom of three small children (plus a grown daughter), Liz is at home full time. The family doesn’t have health insurance, so every little bit of financial support helps.
