Wow, 11111! That’s a great number! Can you believe it’s the number of unread messages in my Yahoo mail In box?
No, I am not kidding. And yes, many of them are digests of lists I seem to think I ought to keep even though I can get everything in the group site archives. The problem is, I’ll forget to check. Having the new message reminds me… in theory, until it is over 10 days old, at which point I should really give it the heave-ho.
This is why I registered for Facebook with a different email address. But then I don’t check it very often, and I miss info people assume I’ve gotten about them. Sorry to be out of that loop, and I know I could change my settings, but that would be too easy of a fix for someone who can’t zero out her In box every day. Somehow it seems easier and cleaner not to introduce to my messy e-home. Now if I can just get the real house I inhabit back up to open house-worthy status for tomorrow, maybe someone else will buy it and I can start over with my real, tangible clutter in a bigger home!
11111!
